Search
Loopwave lets you search the message history of a connected number by keyword, so you can pull up a past conversation without scrolling.
Searching messages
Enter a search term and Loopwave returns matching messages for that number, scoped to
the number you’re viewing. The search is case-insensitive and matches anywhere
within a message body — so searching refund finds “Refund please”, “a refund”, and
“REFUND”.
Search is bounded to a single number’s messages and is optimized to stay fast by using an index on the number before matching the text. Results are capped to the most recent matches so the inbox stays responsive.
Tips
- Search for order numbers, emails, or names mentioned in a thread to jump straight to the relevant conversation.
- Combine with labels to first narrow your audience, then search within it.
- Respect masking. If number masking is on, agents’ search results show masked numbers, consistent with the rest of the inbox.
What search covers
Search looks at message text content. It does not search inside media files (images, documents). To find a media message, search for the text sent alongside it or locate the conversation by contact.
